William (Bill) Wahlke,71, passed away on Thursday October 30,2025 after complications from heart surgery in Tucson, Arizona.

Bill was born on December 24, 1953 to John and Eunice Wahlke in Artesia, California. He was the youngest of the 3 children. Bill grew up in California and in Oregon. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Anthropology. ln 1975 he and Peggy were married in Oregon. They had their first child Heather in 1981 and their second child John in 1984. They moved at that time to Washington state for work. Bill worked for The Boeing Aircraft Company for 38 years. Upon retiring he and Peggy moved to Green Valley, Arizona. While in Green Valley Bill served his community by working with the Sheriffs Auxillary Volunteers for 5 years. This summer Bill and Peggy celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and long time friends in Seattle, Washington.

Bill is survived by his wife Peggy Wahlke, daughter Heather Oleksak (Allen), son John Wahlke (Elsa Silva), grandson Nolan Oleksak, sister Jacquie McNulty, brother Bob Wahlke (Susan), neices and their families Tami McNulty, Michelle Nelson (Brandon), Rainie Kirkevold (Kris), Windy Wahlke (Steve Espe), Sierra Wahlke. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Eunice.

Two Celebration of Life services will be held in his honor. The first will be on Saturday, November 22,2025 in Green Valley, Arizona. The location is the Desert Hills GVR center at 2980 S Camino Del Sol #107-D we will be in the Auditorium from 1pm-3pm.

The second will be on Sunday February 15,2026 in Portland, Oregon. The location will be at the Radisson Hotel Portland Airport 6233 NE 67th CT. Portland, OR we will be in the Runway room from 12pm-4pm.

Food will be served at both events (Tacos in Bills honor)

Flowers will be accepted and donations to the American Heart Association as well.
