William Joseph Owings Jr. passed away on June 1, 2026 at Banner University Hospital in Tucson, AZ in true warrior fashion, showing stoic strength and fighting until the end.
He was born on May 7,1965 at Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  He graduated from St. Charles West in 1983 and joined the United States Army where he served for 9 years before leaving at the rank of Specialist E-4.  After the military he went back to school where he got a degree in engineering and led a successful career.
William is survived by his wife Cindy; children: Megan, Ashley, Monica, Michael; and 5 grandkids with another on the way; his parents: Claudia and William Owings Sr.; 3 brothers Ronald, Scott, Jay; and 3 Sisters Judy, Julia, and Janice; and beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Julie (Shadle) Fradle and stepdad Jerry Wilson.
A celebration of life will be held in St. Charles at a later date.
