Trudi G. Hewitt, 82, passed away peacefully at home in Sahuarita, Arizona, on September 26, 2025, surrounded by her husband Terry, and daughters Julie Griffith and Susan Jones.

Born in the Bronx, New York, Trudi lived a vibrant and creative life filled with curiosity, compassion, and a deep love for others. She worked as a legal transcriber and later as a technical and creative writer, admired for her clarity, wit, and eloquence. A gifted artist and painter, she brought beauty and meaning to everything she touched.

Trudi was a loving wife, mother, mentor, confidant, and friend. She truly cared and encouraged the best in others. She was also a devoted animal lover and volunteer, dedicating her time to cat rescue work and community emergency response.

She lived in California and Oregon, before moving to Arizona in 2020 to be near her sister, Linda.

She loved to travel - from Tibet to Ireland - and found beauty everywhere she went.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 25, 2026, in Beaverton, Oregon.
