Thomas Logan Macfarlane, 89, of Green Valley, Arizona, passed away very peacefully at TMC Hospital on May 24, 2026.  He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Lois.  He is survived by his Brother Peter Macfarlane and Sister Marty Wikert, as well as three children Mark Macfarlane, Jody Collins Skinner (Rob), Molly Brower.  Also 14 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.  Tom was preceded in death by daughters Robyn Collins, Greg Macfarlane, & Julie Albright.

He was born December 30, 1936 in Sioux City, Iowa to Joseph & Christine Macfarlane.  He graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa.  He went to work for Iowa Public Service/ Midamerican Energy and worked there for 35 years.

In 1984 he married the love of his life, Lois.  They lived in Sioux City until 1998 when they moved to Green Valley, AZ.  Tom was very active at Valley Presbyterian Church, serving on many committees and cooking many meals in the kitchen.  His love of cooking was done especially for his church & family.  His faith with his Lord was present in all he did.

A Memorial Service is planned for Wednesday May 27th at 1:00 at Valley Presbyterian Church, Green Valley, AZ. A live stream of the service will be available for anyone unable to attend in person. The link can be found on the Valley Presbyterian Church website and shared on Lois's Facebook page.
