Thomas (Jeff) Guier was born on December 8, 1934-son of Thomas Mauck Guier and Hazel Burns Guier of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Jeff graduated from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in the College of Commerce and Administration. He was a member of Alpha lota Chapter of Delta Signa Phi Fraternity and active in YMCA and Jaycees where he held the office of President, Evansville, Indiana. In 1966 he was listed as an "Outstanding Young Men of America" by the Jaycees for young men who had distinguished themselves in one or more fields.

Jeff moved to Green Valley in 2001 after a busy radio broadcasting career in Hawaii, California, Ohio, Idaho, Indiana, New Mexico, Oregon and Green Valley, Arizona. After retiring from radio he was associated with Dunn Hospitality Group, Evansville, Indiana where he managed a Fairfield Inn by Marriott for seven years. He continued his radio career in Green Valley part time at Green Valley radio station KGVY and volunteered as pool monitor at the West Center Pool.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Suzanne Jette Guier plus many cousins, nieces and nephews and God-children. He is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Hazel Guier and his four sisters, Ann Ickes, Kay Mapes, Lois Smith and Alice Adams He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He will be greatly missed by those his life touched. Services will be announced at a later date.
