Russell (Russ) Alan Berglund of Green Valley, Arizona passed away on February 5, 2024 after a courageous, year-long battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. He astonished all those around him with his fortitude for the fight. He was 63 years old, and fiercely loved by his wife, Deanna; daughter, Shani; sister, brothers, nephews, nieces; and many friends.

Russ loved his family, hunting, fishing, Labradors, cars, campfires, snow, and four-wheeling. He could navigate his Jeep across rocky, mountain terrain like no other. He also enjoyed pun-sparring with his daughter, Shani, and would proudly applaud her whenever she bested him—always with that gleam in his eyes.

Russ' career encompassed 35 years in the sheet metal fabrication industry with 20 of those years in management, where he was known for his fairness and morale-boosting talent. As a very skilled fabricator, himself, he could design, build, install, or fix ANYTHING.

His many talents, wit, creativity, and fireside chats will be profoundly missed by all. Rest in Peace, Russ. No more hospitals. We love you!

Celebrations of life are planned for Green Valley (details forthcoming) and this summer at his favorite hunting spot in Eastern Washington. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society.
