With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Mathias, a beloved father, brother, uncle, son, and friend.

Born in Modesto, California, and raised in Fresno, he found his calling in San Diego, where he dedicated himself to the produce industry. Known for his unwavering work ethic and infectious sense of humor, he brightened the lives of many who knew him.

Roger passed away in Green Valley, Arizona on May 31st, 2024. His death is preceded by his mother, Lorraine Mathias, and sister, Monica Mathias. He is survived by his father, Ricardo Mathias, his 6 siblings, Robin, Ryan, Randel, Melissa, Rory and Meredith and his three children, Ethan, Katie, and Emily.

In honoring his memory, let us remember the joy and laughter he shared with all. Though he may be gone, his spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched. Rest in peace, Roger.

A memorial service will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Chula Vista, CA on June 28th at 1 PM in honor of Roger.
