Robert E Gonzales, age 78, passed away January 29th, 2025 in Green Valley, AZ. Bob was an adored husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. To know Bob was to know how generous he was - he would literally give you the shirt off of his back and gladly buy whatever any local kid was selling, especially if it was candy. He will be remembered by many as a wonderful friend and family member, always willing to help, and an avid volunteer who gave his time as a coach, umpire and most recently at the Animal League of Green Valley.

Bob loved watching sports, especially his Washington Redskins (aka the Commanders) and Arizona Wildcats, and any classic western movie or history channel documentary. He loved to ride his bike and played tennis for many years and often could be found outside tending to his backyard, flying kites or working on cars. He served in the army during the Vietnam War, going on to work in the copper mines and then as a bus driver for the County Connection, where he met his beloved wife of 30 years, Jennifer. After many years in Northern California, they moved back to Arizona where they spent the last 16 years.
