Obituary

Robert D. Fox passed away peacefully on March 16, 2016, in Tucson, Arizona.

Born in Shawnee, Oklahoma in 1926, and known for his intelligence, sense of humor and kind heart, Bob was Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific.

Bob also served in the Diplomatic Corps early in his career, working in China, Canada, Germany, Africa and other parts of the world.  He later worked in the aerospace industry as an international exhibitor for McDonnell Douglas stationed in Rome, Cairo and Shanghai.  He was fortunate to have traveled the world over several decades and enjoyed a love for all people, languages and cultures.

A music aficionado, Bob loved the beautiful Arizona sunsets, entertaining, road trips, current events, art, USC Trojan football and gardening, as well as his many friendships and a dry five o'clock martini.

After settling in Green Valley approximately fifteen years ago, Bob appreciated his good fortune in having so many friends and neighbors who were always generous with a helping hand during difficult times.

He was a devoted husband and father and is survived by his great love, wife Liliana Pentz Fox; daughters Monica Fox and Jessica Fox; stepdaughter Maria Carolina Larrain; stepsons Luis Adolfo Larrain and Carlos Larrain; and grandchildren Luis Adolfo Larrain, Pili Larrain, Manuel Jose Larrain, Tere Larrain, Josefina Langevin, Maximiliano Langevin, Vicente Larrain, Consuelo Larrain and Santiago Larrain.
