R. Ann Westrope

Born October 1935 in Spencer, IA, “Randy” Ann Westrope peacefully passed away on September 24, 2026 in Green Valley, AZ. A dedicated nurse and leader, she earned her BSN from Creighton University and an MSN from the University of Iowa. She held leadership roles at Ohio State University Hospitals, St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, and King Faisal Hospital in Saudi Arabia. She retired in 2000 to Green Valley, where she was active in AAUW, the Animal League, the Library, and ESL tutoring. A member of Borderlands UU Church, she was predeceased by her husband, Thomas. She is survived by her 3 children Anne, Paul, and Brad, and grandchildren Leed, Nicole, Alex, and Quin. She will be deeply missed by the people who knew her and the lives she touched.
