Patricia Malin Tenney

Mar 15, 1934 — Oct 6, 2026

Patricia Malin Tenney better known as Pat died peacefully in her home at Arroyo Gardens Green Valley Az on October 6 2026.

Born in Port Chester New York on March 15, 1934, she graduated Salutatorian of the Class of 1952 of Port Chester High. After completing legal secretarial school, Pat discovered her love for travel and happily found her wings by marrying USAF fighter pilot Lt. Jack Cebe-Habersky in 1955. They raised four children while living in four countries and several states. After her husband succumbed to illness in 1977, she eventually traveled back to Arizona where she joined her retired mother and best friend Ruth in Green Valley. In 1991 she met and married the second love of her life, Jim Tenney. They enjoyed 30 happy years traveling and living the good life together in Green Valley. She enjoyed reading, baking, cross stitching a good game of Farkel. She was especially passionate about genealogy and researched this extensively, eventually becoming a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Pat was always noted for her radiant smile and easy laugh that led to many good friendships. While having the rare trait of being able to laugh at herself, she could readily acknowledge her lack of athleticism, which was always underscored by the reminder that her first honeymoon was remembered by her family as the occasion when she quickly fell off her horse, unbeknownst to her new husband who continued his ride.

In addition to her first husband, she was predeceased by second her husband Jim Tenney, sister Ginny Spadaccini, daughter Diane Ruth Overall, and granddaughter Amanda Cebe-Habersky. She is survived by sons John Edward Cebe (Ginger), Ed Cebe-Habersky (Valerie), Jack Cebe-Habersky, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was also survived by three siblings: Bob Malin, Dick Malin and Nancy Dacres.

Her family would like to thank all her friends and care-givers at Arroyo Gardens, who kept her last years full, happy and comfortable as her ablilities became more limiting.
