Patricia Alexandre died on Friday, June 26, 2020 in Green Valley, Arizona, she was 84.  Patricia or Pat, as she preferred to be called, was born January 8, 1936 in Antlers, Oklahoma. Much of her childhood was spent in Mexico (State of Tamaulipas) living on a ranch owned by a relative and later in the city of Tampico.  In her late teens, she moved with her mother, Clara, to San Antonio, Texas where she met and married Andrew Walker (Andy) in 1954.  This union resulted in the birth of her only son, Jerry. Pat's career was spent in the restaurant service industry working as a waitress. Despite having no formal education, she rose to the position of manager in one of San Antonio's most exclusive five-star  restaurants "The Fig Tree." However, the pressure of the  job made her unhappy and she returned to what she loved doing the most, waitressing. She retired from the famed  Earl Abel's Restaurant in San Antonio  where she had a large following of customers who would have " no one but Pat"  wait on them. One of those customers was Mark Alexandre who had recently lost his wife. After some dating, they married in 1985. Upon Mark's death she moved to the rural mountain town of Susanville, California to be near her son. In 2006 her son retired, and she moved with him to Tucson Arizona.   A unique soul, Pat was known for her empathy and kindness for others. She served tirelessly in her church, Sacred Heart in Susanville,  where fellow parishioners remembered  her for organizing and cooking countless church dinners and visiting the sick. She loved gardening and nature and could often be found hiking the many trails in Susanville. She also loved to sing, especially Christian hymns and old Mexican boleros by the group "Los Ponchos." In her late 70's Pat developed severe dementia, requiring placement in a memory care facility. Soon her caregivers fell in love with her due to her sweet disposition.  She never lost  memory of those she loved until the very end. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.  Pat is survived by her son, Jerry Walker, her two grandchildren Jennifer Fregeau  and  Stephen Walker,  her two great grandchildren Rio and Noe Walker and sister Norma Fenlon.  Internment of her ashes will occur  in San Fernando Cemetery in San Antonio Texas at a  date to be announced. Any donations in her name may be made to "The Lady of The Valley" Perish  "Casa de Hogar" orphanage  in Green Valley, Arizona.
