Obituary

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Omar H. Moreno. Omar passed unexpectedly on October 28, 2023, at the age of 37.
Omar was born and raised in the small town of Sahuarita, AZ. Growing up in the village, Omar was known for his good nature, his braid, and always smiling and laughing at a joke or making one with his friends. Omar had a skill for drawing and building as a young adult, from the lowrider bike he built from scratch and later with his green Camaro's sound system, making sure you heard him before you saw him. He created his afro man drawing and made sure to draw it wherever he could. He contributed to his community by helping to design the Sahuarita Monument on N La Villita Rd. As an adult, Omar was a devoted provider to his wife and children, working as a Tire Technician at Southern Tire Mart; there, he was a dedicated employee who always tried to be the first one in and last one out, making his presence known around his coworkers with his witty humor and laid-back nature. Omar's passions were many, ranging from the love of baseball and his Dodgers to maintaining and tweaking his vehicles, putting on his boots and working outside with some country music playing, spending time with his four children and wife, and any opportunity to get together with friends and family; whether it be when help was needed or to have a beer and relax. It feels impossible to list just how remarkable Omar was and what he meant to those who knew him in life. But to Omar's family, those who grew up with him from the village and those who met him later in life will no doubt remember his magnetic smile, his laugh, his humor, his hugs and handshakes, and him never missing an opportunity to go out of his way to tell you hello, to ask how you were doing, how your family was and to take care and that he loves you.
Omar is survived by his wife, Brittney  Davis Moreno; four children: Danytza, Eyva, Dominick, and Arabella Moreno; Parents Rudy and Terry Moreno, Nana Kika Bracamonte, and siblings Tatsue Rios, Norma Alicia Herran, Ariana Bustamante, and Micaela Ybarra. He is predeceased by his maternal Grandfather, Ignacio Bracamonte, paternal Grandparents Rodolfo Moreno Sr and Raquel Moreno Keeme, and Uncle John Keeme.

Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Nephew, Cousin, Uncle, Nino, and Friend. Please help us celebrate and remember the incredible life of Omar Moreno.
