Nils Erik Odingard, Green Valley, AZ., age 88 Born Jan. 15, 1927 in Gothenburg, Sweden. Died Oct. 6, 2015 in Green Valley, AZ. Preceded in death by parents, Erik and Signe Andersson, and little sister, Ann-Margret. Survived by sisters Inger Odingard and Brita Arntzen, and nephew Jonas (Ragnhild) Arntzen, all of Gothenburg, Sweden. Daughter Monika (Brien) Slawik of St. Paul, MN. Special friends Ann ("Posa") Clemedtson of Moorhead, MN, Linda Clemedtson of Green Bay, WI, and John Clemedtson of Moorhead, whom he loved like a son. Erik was a world traveler and adventurer, an accomplished dancer, a lover of words, music and a good laugh. Erik was especially fond of exploring New Zealand, Fiji and Australia, all three of which he visited many times. Friends and family were continuously entertained by Erik's vast repertoire of stories and jokes. He was proud of his Swedish heritage and involved in many different Scandinavian clubs. Prior to his retirement in Green Valley in 1992, he resided in Osceola, WI, and owned a small business that regularly took him across the country.
