It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Neville F. Ford. He was born in Greenock, Scotland and raised by his grandmother in the U.K. in humble surroundings. His extraordinary intellect won him a full scholarship at the prestigious Manchester Grammar School. He credited this stellar education as the foundation for his success.

Neville earned a BS from the University of Bristol in 1955, Doctor of Philosophy in 1958, and a Doctor of Science in 1978. He immigrated to the U.S. where he met the love of his life, Dr. Branka Ford on a ski trip, while working in NJ. He was a Sr. Chemist at Ciba Pharmaceutical in 1960, rising to Director of Research in 1971.

He went on to earn a Doctor of Medicine in 1985 from Washington University. Neville rose to become Executive Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Bristol-Meyers, Squibb from 1988-1998.  In 2000, he opened Woodfield Clinical Consultants and relocated to Green Valley, AZ.

He received the Vol. Faculty Teaching Award from the University of Medicine & Dentistry in NJ in 2020. Neville was a Fellow of the American College of Physicians & the American College of Clinical Pharmacology.

Dr. Branka Ford passed in 2020 leaving him bereft. They were not blessed with children.

Neville will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him. He will be laid to rest at the Green Valley Mortuary & Cemetery in Sahuarita, AZ.
