Obituary

Mary Louise Langley (Reynolds)

Born February 1, 1940, Died April 30th, 2026

Mary was born in Richmond, Virginia. She was widowed in 1966 with 3 young children.  She married again and moved out to the Sahuarita area of Curly Horn Ranches.  This was a new area of raw land where she and her family carved out a small homestead ranch.

Mary participated in the community, volunteering with the swim team while working as a real estate agent and a waitress to support her family. She eventually went to work for the Post Office where she worked for 20 years until medically retiring in 1995 after having a major stroke.

Even though she never returned to 100% she could not sit still. She maintained her property, doing yard work and trimming trees to keep busy as her therapy. After 28 years she eventually had a major heart attack. Mary still would not let this keep her down. Even with a heart only working at 25% she still insisted on keeping up her yard work because she took pride in that. However, after out living the average, she finally succumbed and passed away in her sleep on April 30th.

Mary requested no services. She knew how difficult funerals could be after having been to so many. She simply wished to be remembered as she was. She will be missed by her community and family.
