It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Maria Paquette.  Maria passed away suddenly on November 14, 2017.  Maria was a beloved mother, sister and friend.  She is survived by her daughters Jennifer and Jaclyn, sister Maria, sister-in-law Lenore, brother Emilio, sister-in-law Ligia, niece Christina, nephew Emilio, ex husband Robert and her beloved dog Frieda.  Maria was a kind, compassionate and caring woman.

Maria was born in 1954 in Santiago de Cuba and immigrated to New York in 1960.  She spent most of her life working for the United States Postal Service where she made lifelong friendships. She retired and began her second career serving the mental health community.  Maria was known as a hard worker, great friend and devoted daughter, but what she was put on this earth to be the best mother there ever was.  She was completely selfless, incredibly nurturing, hilariously funny and dedicated her whole life to doing anything and everything for her daughters to be the successful, independent women they are today.
