Marguerite Katherine Cartter- Known to most as Mudgie, passed on January 11, 2016, peacefully and surrounded by Love. She is survived by constant companion, Donnie Bollschwieler, her son John Henkel(Laura), her siblings Maureen "Mo" Hawxhurst (Peter), William H. Cartter (Diane), Paul B. Cartter, Mary C. Cartter and her grandchildren Sydney, Riley, Mason, and Jordan Henkel. She also leaves behind nieces Courtney Austin(Steve) and Danielle Petersen(Jeff) and their children Cameron and Corbin Austin and Taylor and Reif Petersen.
Her numerous friends are too many to mention. She was loved by many.
There is a memorial service for her friends being held by Marcy Smith at Shooter's steakhouse on Sunday. January 24th at 2:30pm. The Bryan Dean Trio will be hosting the music and representing the Tucson musicians she so loved. In addition, Donnie B. will continue the Annual Easter Bonnet Brunch on the Saturday after Good Friday at Nevada Smith's in her honor. A small private family memorial is being planned for mid-February and will be announced soon.
