Margaret was born December 6, 1923, in York County (Fairview Township), PA. to Silvanus Dewey Stoner and Jennie May Bishop of New Cumberland, PA. as one of 7 children.

Margaret met the love of her life, James S. Hunter Jr. MD., in Baltimore, MD. They were married on Dec. 19, 1947, in Rochester, Minnesota. Margaret had a wonderful passion for the Lord Jesus Christ and saw that he was well incorporated into our lives as we children grew up. She enjoyed gardening, genealogical research, antiquing, sewing and stone houses. She could paint beautiful pictures using water colors or oil-based paints.

She is survived by her son, James S. Hunter III (Brenda) of Green Valley, AZ., daughters Leslie Anne Windyka of Kersey, CO., and Lauren P. Weber (Chuck) of La Jolla, CA., 8 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
