Margaret Cecelia Carrillo, 69, of Phoenix, AZ, peacefully entered heaven on June 23, 2026, surrounded by family. Born November 22, 1956, Margaret was a deeply faithful Catholic and a compassionate nurse who poured her big heart into caring for others. An avid reader with the sweetest voice, her greatest treasure was her family. She loved her children unconditionally and gave them everything she had, always teaching them to: "Love God, love life, love people."
Margaret is survived by her mother, Evangelina Carrillo; children, Angela, Monica, Marisa, and Eddie; grandchildren, Sara, Nellie, Matthew, Robert, Brayden, Madison, and Levi; great-grandchildren, Stella, Mabel, and Olive; and siblings, Fernando, Mark, Victor, Theresa, Anita, and Linda. She is also survived by her former spouse, Edward Chavez Jr., father to Monica, Marisa, and Eddie. She was preceded in death by her father, Salvador Carrillo.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, July 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Phoenix.
