Obituary

Marcia A. Koepp, 85, of Sahuarita, AZ, passed away on July 5, 2026, surrounded by loving family. Marcia was born August 19, 1940, in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of Sam and Lottie (Pietras) Hrapcak. Marcia graduated from Chicago Vocational High School in 1958. She worked for the Federal  Department of Transportation for 33 years, finishing her career as a safety investigator for the Federal Highway Administration.


Marcia married Bill Koepp on September 10, 1960 at St. Columba, in Chicago, IL, with Father Kelly officiating. After visiting all 50 states, Marcia and Bill extended traveling worldwide. Marcia enjoyed 26 years of blissful retirement in Green Valley, Arizona. Marcia was active in the Green Valley Garden Club, serving as president. She also thoroughly enjoyed being a Red Hatter. She enjoyed many years attending PT Cruiser Club of Southern Arizona events with Bill, driving their fun, one-of-a-kind PT Cruiser convertible. Marcia was an avid reader and could also be found tending to her many flowers and plants.


Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Lottie Hrapcak, and her brother Ron Rapchak.


She is survived by her husband Bill, her children Deb (Randy) Ramsey and Dave (Shawn) Koepp, her grandchildren (Mikaila, Loreli, and Alex), and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of the Valley in Green Valley on Friday, July 24 at 10:00 am.
