In Loving Memory of Lucille “Lucy” Marecek

Lucy, a beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother, passed away September 19, 2026. She left behind a sister, four children, numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories and the love of all of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Lucy shared many wonderful years with her beloved husband, Ed, who preceded her in death. Her two brothers and one sister also have preceded her in death.

Lucy found joy in the things she loved most. She loved board games of any kind and could spend hours “knocking your socks off”, she was an avid reader and could often be found lost in a good book. She enjoyed bowling, whether it was the competition, the camaraderie, or simply spending time with others.

Above all, she loved her family. She had a way of making people around her feel loved and remembered, and her presence brought comfort and familiarity to so many lives. The memories she created with her family will be carried forward for generations.

While she will be deeply missed, those who loved her can take comfort in knowing that her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.
