Lawrence D. Markus was born April 5, 1945 in Elyria, Ohio. He graduated from Elyria Catholic High School and Cleveland Engineering. He worked as a draftsman and Planning Engineer with Boeing, Seattle, WA. He is survived by is wife of 55 years. He lived in Peninsula, Ohio, Puyallup, WA., Silver City, NM and Tubac, AZ. He was an overly generous people in all aspects of life: educating his children, wife, and grandson. He was an avid backpacker, bicyclist, mountain climber and runner of marathons. Lawrence was a genuinely devoted husband and father. He coached his son's baseball team until high school. He enjoyed traveling in the motorhome through the USA and Canada. Lawrence treasured time spent in Mexico before and after retiring. His hobby was woodworking. Lawrence enjoyed Seattle Mariners baseball games, ballet, plays, concerts and operas. He had an adventurous life and will be greatly missed.
