Kenneth E. Hartz Passed away on April 18, 2024. Kenneth was the loving husband of Bernice Hartz and the father to Janice Clemons. He was the son of Frederick and Pauline Hartz and brother of Frederick Jr.

Kenneth was a Graduate of Shippensburg State College with Bachelor's and Master's degrees. He was a retired West Shore public School educator. Coach Hartz was a dedicated track and field and field hockey coach for decades and he was also a PIAA official.

In Idaho, he was employed as a U.S. Forest Service seasonal, served as a museum docent, volunteered as an ambulance driver and EMT, and presided as library board president.

In Arizona, he volunteered at Kartchner Caverns State Park, in the UMC of Green Valley choir, and for the Green Valley Sheriff's Auxiliary Volunteers.

Green Valley Mortuary and Cemetery in Sahuarita, AZ has been entrusted with handling the arrangements.

A Celebration of Life will be held April 27 at 11 AM in the UMC of Green Valley.
