Obituary

Karen Jane Lutz (Clark), born August 12, 1939 (Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin), married Marlyn C. Lutz on March 8. 1958. Karen shared her compassion and dedication through her work at River View Hospital (Wisconsin Rapids) before devoting many cherished years to raising her four wonderful sons as a stay-at-home mother. In 1989, she moved to Arizona, where she found great joy working in retail in Green Valley, combining her warm personality with a lifelong love of fashion.

A generous and giving soul, Karen spent countless hours volunteering at Friends in Deed in Green Valley, Arizona, where she formed many meaningful and lasting friendships. She found happiness in hiking, swimming, and spending time outdoors, and was an avid reader who especially enjoyed her reading club and reading books on her iPad. Above all, Karen treasured time spent with her family.

Karen was a wonderful mother and caring sister, a devoted and best friend to her husband, and a beautiful soul as a mother-in-law. As a grandmother, she was kind, funny, and embraced life with a "go-with-the-flow" spirit and a willingness to try anything, bringing joy and laughter to those around her. Throughout her life, Karen showed remarkable strength and courage, facing every challenge that came her way with grace and resilience.

Guided by a deep and unwavering trust in God, Karen found comfort and strength in her faith. She enjoyed worshiping with her family and took simple pleasure in watching her favorite television programs. She will be lovingly remembered for her kindness, warmth, gentle humor, unwavering strength, and the love she so freely shared with everyone around her.

Karen was called to eternal life on December 26, 2025, and preceded in death by her father Kenneth W. Clark, mother Agnes D Polchinski, sister Jacqueline Boruch, husband Marlyn C. Lutz and sons Kerry Lutz, Kris Lutz, Kory Lutz.

Karen is survived by her brother Rick (Page) Clark of Wisconsin, sisters Marilyn Nelson and Judy Clark of Arizona; son Kevin (Marlene) Lutz of Arizona; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
