Obituary

Jose Ezequiel Adame, age 84, passed through heaven's gates on April 2, 2024, surrounded by his loving family in Tucson, Arizona.


He was the cherished husband of Rosa de las Nieves Adame. Jose was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and love for his family.

Born in Durango Mexico, Jose eventually made his home in Tucson, Arizona. An accomplished landscaper, Jose was widely regarded as the best in his field, having worked in Adrian, Michigan, for 15 years and later establishing himself as the premier landscaper in Green Valley for 35 years. His work was his passion, and he took great pride in transforming landscapes into works of art.

He is survived by his brother, Fortunato Adame; sisters, Bertha Valdez, Margarita Andiola, and Adela Parra; daughters, Alma Luz Peru, Zulema Adame, and Elvia Adame-Callahan; grandchildren, Arisela Espinoza, Adrianna Peru, Dustin Callahan, Dylan Callahan, Christian Peru, Erika Pena, and Orlando Etsitty; great-grandchildren, Michael Sanchez, Adrian Sanchez, and Azaleah Sanchez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jose was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Adame; mother, Isabel Adame; wife, Rosa De las Nieves Adame; sister, Emilia Pena; and sons, Jesus Adame, and Jose Adame.

Jose will be remembered for his unwavering faith, kindness, and generosity. He touched the lives of many with his warm smile and compassionate heart.

Family & Friends are invited to celebrate his life at the Green Valley Mortuary Chapel, located at 18751 S. La Canada Dr., Green Valley, AZ 85629, Friday, April 12, 2024, at 1:00 PM, Burial will follow the service.

A reception will also take place at the Banquet Hall, 1570 W. Duval Mine Rd., Green Valley, AZ 85614 from 2:30pm-7pm.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their support, condolences, and prayers during this difficult time.
