John Krueger of Green Valley, AZ, and previously of Fergus Falls, MN, has passed away at the age of 87.

John was born in Wellman, Iowa to Rev. William and Ida Krueger.  They moved several times between Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota, ending up in Fergus Falls, MN where John met an alluring dark haired girl named Karen.   After graduating from Fergus Falls High School in 1955 he went on to study Business at Valparaiso University.   John accepted a commission in the Navy after graduating from Valparaiso in 1960, married his high school sweetheart Karen and they moved to Long Beach, CA where he was stationed.  Two children soon followed and after John left the service in 1963 they returned to Fergus Falls where he went to work at Ottertail Power in the Benefits Dept.   Two more children arrived in Fergus Falls.

After retiring, John and Karen started traveling, mostly to Europe and the Caribbean and moved to Green Valley, AZ.

John is survived by daughter Linda Rollins (Brent) of Mesa, AZ; son William Krueger of McKinney, TX; daughter Susan Krueger of New Hope, MN; daughter Julia Evjen (Jay) of Dassel, MN; granddaughter Amanda Grossmann (Eric) of St. Paul, MN; grandson Nicholas Krueger (Bryn) of Long Beach, CA; grandson Cole Evjen of Dassel, MN; grandson Trenton Evjen of Mankato, MN; grandson Memphis Krueger of McKinney, TX and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Karen, his parents and his siblings Richard, Robert and Mary Ann.
