Joe was born on Wednesday, May 31, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to Mary and Jesus Palomar. Joe is survived by his four children, Michael Palomar, Edward Palomar, Cynthia Vandrush and Stephanie Alexander. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, close friends and work colleagues.

Joe had accomplished many things in his lifetime that he was extremely proud of. He was a veteran and served honorably in the Air Force for four years. He was a member of over fifty years to IAMAW Local 126. He had a wonderful career as a senior journeyman, working with various contractors all over the world up until his retirement on May 25, 2011. In his spare time Joe loved gardening, line dancing, trying new restaurants and cuisines, experiencing new cultures while traveling and sharing stories and memories of his life with others.

A memorial service honoring Joe will take place on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the Green Valley Mortuary, 18751 S. La Cañada Drive, Sahuarita, Arizona 85629, at 10-11am. A family lunch will be held immediately after. Family and friends, near and far, are welcome to attend in remembering the life of Joe.
