Irene Sharp Given of Green Valley, Arizona, formerly of Palo Alto, California, Kauai, Hawaii and Glen Ellyn, Illinois, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2024, at the age of 93. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.

Born to Tirzah and Stanley Sharp, Irene was a loving and devoted wife to her late husband, Bill Given. Together, they built a beautiful family, and she is survived by her four children: Rose Begley, Tom Given (Charlene), Ken Given (Marilyn), and Joy Given. She was proceeded in death by her older sister, Nancy, and survived by her younger sister, Susan, Irene's legacy lives on through her 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, all of whom cherished her unwavering love.

Irene was known for her expressiveness, love of theater and musicals, and love for reading. She found joy in swimming, volunteering at the Friends of the Library and going out for Mexican food or enjoying an occasional sweet. Her laughter and stories created lasting memories with her loved ones.
