Green Valley resident, Eric J. Rautenberg, 76, died October 27, 2022, with his beloved wife, Karen by his side.

He is survived by his wife, Karen, and the mother of his two sons, Beverly Rautenberg-Panko (Gary), mother of Michael (Laura) and James (Rachel) Rautenberg. His brother Steven (Susan), Niece Amanda (Charlie) and Helen, Special Sister, Debbie Jesselson, Six grandchildren, Michael Jr., Emily, Azely, Caliyah, Ronin, Huxlie. And stepchildren, Susan (Fritz) Dowe, Karen (Dan) Navis, and Bernie Krueger. Four step grandchildren,
Morgan (Josh) Anderson, Kyle Bohachek, Madison Bohachek, and Rebecca Dowe, and one step great-grandson, Noah Anderson.

Mr. Rautenberg was born May 28, 1946 in Chicago, IL to Henry and Edith Rautenberg. Eric had a passion for swimming, hiking, and loved to travel. As a child, he attended Bret Harte Grammar School, and then graduated Hyde Park High School in Chicago, IL. He went on to The University of Wisconsin, Superior, where he received his BS Degree. He attended the Golden Gate University, CA where he earned his MBA Degree (earned while in the Air Force). He was a member of the Jaycees in Wisconsin Dells, WI, where he participated as a family in River Raft competition. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, 1969 to 1973.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 3, at 11:00am at the Green Valley Mortuary & Cemetery located at: 18751 S. La Canada Dr. Sahuarita, AZ.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Friends In Deed, an organization where he volunteered and also received much support during his three-year battle with cancer.
