Obituary

Edith Roberta Heberer-Lauterbach was called home by God on the 27 th of August 2021. She was born in Kewanee, IL on the 9 th of July 1939, to John H. and Sophie Heberer. During her 82 years, she worked as a beautician, teacher, and counselor while earning her BA from Purdue University and MS in Education from Indiana  University. She is survived by her sisters Fran Stillions, Kay Peterson, and Marian Landry, and her sons Stephen E Lauterbach and Kevin J Lauterbach with his wife  Yvonne and their daughter Tatjana.

She retired in 2005 to Green Valley where she pursed her art while in the Sana Rita  Art League. She won First Place at the 10 th Annual Eva Briggs Abstract Art  Competition with one of her favorite works, "Rorschach/Wais" in 2014.

In memorial, we placed a gargoyle from her garden in a bed of purple flowers at  the Desert Meadows Park in Green Valley, AZ (pic as background) and her ashes  will be interred in Kentucky.
