Conrad A. Bautz, 83, passed away peacefully Friday, November 10, 2017 in Green Valley Arizona.  Conny was born May 10, 1934 to Andrew and Gunda Bautz.

He met his loving bride, Kay Johnston, in 1956.  They married in 1959 and shared 58 wonderful years of marriage.  Conny worked in the field of education for almost forty years until his retirement in 1993.  He was actively involved in home repair projects, reading western novels, polka dancing and golf, but what Conny loved most was spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

Conrad is survived by his wife, Kay; son, Dean Bautz and wife Cindy Cutsforth; daughter, LeeAnn (Bautz) Short and husband Jake Short; grandchildren Zachary Short; April (Bautz) Bailey and husband Adam; Nichelle (Bautz) Volker and husband Justin; Lucas Short; Leah (Short) Bushey and husband Cody and great grandchild Colin Bailey.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Green Valley Mortuary at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Ken Nyhusmoen.  A gathering to reminiscence of the smiles Conny brought to others will take place directly following the service at Madera Vista (440 Camino Del Portillo). A celebration of his life will take place in Star Lake New York in May, 2018.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the:
