In her later years, Carrie made her home in Green Valley, AZ. She attended the United Methodist Church of Green Valley and enjoyed Sunday services. She also volunteered at the Animal league of Green Valley where she helped care for the cats and dogs at the shelter. Other hobbies included flower arranging, cooking and spending time with her family. She was a proud and loving mother and grandmother.

Carrie was proceeded in death by her husband, Arthur West, twin brother Gary Ward, and her parents Anna and Robert Ward.

She is survived by her three daughters Laura, Lisa and Linda and her brother Darrel and her extended family including her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carrie will be remembered for her social and talkative personality, her willingness to help others especially seniors, and her love of her own family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
