Going Home; In Loving Memory of Barbara Montoya Solares, January 28, 1934 - July 31, 2021. Barbara was 87 years old and passed away on July 31, 2021. She is survived by her three children, Johnny M. (Maria) Solares, Lydia Buckley and Robert M. (Edna) Solares. She is also survived by her brother, Vincent Montoya and sister, Rita M. Ybarra, seven grandchildren and her loving great grandchildren, as well as her cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Barbara was born in Portal, AZ on January 28, 1934. She was the loving wife of Manual Soto Solares of 53 years. She was a loving Mother, Nana, Aunt, Relative and Friend. Barbara was a social worker, homemaker, little league coach and she enjoyed her time working on the ranch and the time she spent in California. She was very patriotic, enjoyed horseback riding and barrel racing. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Our Lady of the Valley Parish, 505 N La Canada Dr. Green Valley, AZ 85614.
