Mrs. Ann W. Zublin of Kansas City, Missouri, born on December 20, 1933, to the late O.D. Welch and Doris Welch passed away at age 91 on April 11, 2025.  Ann lived fully and died peacefully. She enriched the lives of those who knew her. Ann was the loving wife of the late Edward A. Zubin for 50 years. They were hopelessly in love, traveled the world and chose their last home to be in Green Valley.  Ann was an artist and created paintings, beaded pieces and stained glass. She enjoyed all kinds of sports and loved her Texas Longhorns!  She truly embraced her time serving on Alter Guild and as a Stevens minister.

She was preceded in death by her brother, O.D Welch II. Ann is survived by her sister Meridith Welch and Ann's  four children and their spouses; Catherine A. Zublin (Edward Spangler), David A. Zublin (Donna Zublin), Scott D. Zublin and Jeanne Marie Dicks ( W. Mark Dicks) and grandchildren, Noah Spangler (Janice), Ethan Spangler (Morgan), Dylan Zublin (Nicole), Jessica Lewis (David), Kristen Zublin (Talia), W. Austin Dicks (Allison) ; great grandchildren, Walter, Ethan, Emma and Luke Zublin, Olivia, Elijah, and Hannah Spangler, George and Edward Lewis. All of Ann's nephews and nieces, their spouses, children and greats have fond memories of spending quality time with her during her travels to California. Ann leaves behind 71 family members.

We would like to thank those that lovingly cared for Ann over the past few years including Bernie Ravenelle and Ric Pike the staff at La Posada and her beloved friends from St. Francis in the Valley Episcopal Church. We will always be grateful to these individuals who maintained her dignity, watched over her closely ensuring her safety and security during this time.

We celebrate her life in the knowledge that she is whole again and reunited with her one true love Eddie, we will miss her greatly.

Memorial Service and Celebration of Life for Ann W. Zublin will be held on May 23, 2025, at 11:00am. Saint Francis in the Valley Episcopal Church, 600 South La Cañada Drive, Green Valley, AZ.
